Tariffs
What is a Tariff?
A Tariff is the cost of electricity used within a one hour period & charged in kWh.
How do I know what tariff I am being charged?
You can calculate your tariff from your latest electricity bill which should provide an indication of the total kWh you have used in the last month. Take the cost and divide it by the total kWh used for a kWh per hour rate.
Can more than one tariff be entered?
Yes, most wireless electricity monitors cater for at least 2 tariffs so that different time of use permutations can be entered.
My tariff alters after a number of kWh, what tariff should I enter?
You can either, enter the average of the two tariffs or alternatively keep an eye on the display, once you have reached the first usage threshold manually enter the new tariff. See the setup instructions for details on how to enter tariffs.
