Is the Wireless Electricity Monitors battery or mains powered?
Most wireless electricity monitors operate with batteries. The display unit can also be operated from a mains adaptor in place of the batteries. The batteries and the mains adaptor need to be purchased separately.

How long do the batteries last?
For the display standard alkaline batteries should last more than 6 months, with high performance batteries lasting up to 12 months.
For the transmitter standard alkaline batteries should last more than 12 months, with high performance batteries lasting up to 18 months.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?
Yes, but this is not recommended as rechargeable batteries may not last as long.

Will information be lost if the batteries are removed?
All stored information will be held in memory if the batteries are removed.
